Charisma Carpenter is an American actresswho is most famous for her role as the character 'Cordelia Chase' from the popular series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. Carpenter also trained as a dancer and a professional cheerleader. Carpenter only became an actor by luck. Carpenter was discovered by a commercial agent in Los Angeles while she was waiting tables. The actress quickly became a well-known role in one of the more popular fiction dramas in the 90s. Carpenter was a long-time 'Cordelia"Cordelia" character for a long time. Also, she appeared in teen dramas like 'Miss Match', 'Charmed and 'Veronica Mars'. Her reality series on Investigation Discovery' 'Surviving Evil that was initially titled 'I Survived Evilwas a shock to numerous viewers. The show included Carpenter revealing her horrific story of being raped and assaulted by a serial killer when she was just 21. It revealed the side of Carpenter who many viewers had no idea about. Carpenter and her companions were brutally attacked in 1991 Henry Hubbard Jr. (29-year-old San Diego Police Officer). Hubbard took Carpenter hostage, and then ordered her to tie up her two friends. Carpenter resisted his orders, allowing plenty of time for her companions to confront Hubbard. Hubbard and her friends both suffered superficial gunshot wounds. Hubbard was later detained. Carpenter was able to save a crucial piece of evidence and found a police-issue flashlight. It helped secure a 56-year sentence for the serial criminal victim of rape.
