Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her irresistible electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the top of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice as well as her knack for writing emotionally honest songs is what makes her unique. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was making plans to release her debut album.
