Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In the same calendar year she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has gained recognition as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997.
