Lis Wehl was born on August 19, 1961 in the United States She is a writer and former legal expert for Fox News.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She's appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma at Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
